Snowball Update

Posted by Travis & Cheryl Adlington on 19 July, 2012 at 17:25 Comments comments (55)

We have some mixed blessings to report for Snowball.  Unfortunately he has been diagnosed with lung cancer and  cancer may have  been the cause of his neurologic problems with his hind end too. The vet feels that the most humane thing to do is to put Snowball to sleep.

Turning to the good in this sad news:  Snowball got the best possible treatment during his last few months.  He was surrounded by people who loved him and cared for him,  he was able ...

Posted by Travis & Cheryl Adlington on 5 July, 2012 at 2:00 Comments comments (46)

The Danger of Bladder Infections

Posted by Travis & Cheryl Adlington on 22 September, 2011 at 9:40 Comments comments (605)

We  were painfully reminded just recently of how important it is to completely express your dog's bladder.    Our  dog  contracted a nasty bladder infection and it was all because I simply became impatient and did not take the time to insure that his bladder was completely empty.

Hello Everyone-

Well, we are off today to shoot several new videos, specifically on bladder expression.  These will be short and will show several views as well as some of the techniques we have discovered that work very, very well .  These can be done by anyone, on any dog,  in virtually in any place,  without creating a mess.  The key is to totally relax and to convey that sense of relaxation and quiet confidence to your dog, who is totally trusting you.  ...

It  was really gratifying to receive all of the great comments and suggestions for the web site and for the videos.  You know,  when you think about it, this web site is really all of ours-everyone has had a say in pretty much every phase of its development,  from the actual name of the site to the content and finally,  to the format and subject matter  covered in our videos.  As  we go forward,  we hope that you will refer the site to everyo...

Finally!!  After much trial and tribulation,  we have finally managed to successfully upload our first video to our site.    This is just a very simple clip showing how much Buddy2 enjoys his life,  even though he is  both  paralyzed in his back end and completely incontinent.   I  really must apologize for the sound quality and the wind-  it was just blasting that day up at...
